Es que marco el otro detector que tenia al lado, mi Discovery 1100 de Bounty Hunter, ahí en una de las fotos se ve parte del soporte del brazo en color gris.

Hahahaha solo he hecho eso en 2 ocasiones, si funciona, pero es muy cansado, ahí lo traía Valdo y le pedí que checara la marca con ese a ver que daba, saludos.

De hecho hay ocasiones en la que esta tecnica ha resultado ser de lo mas util.
Aunque como dice SIRCOLECCTION es mejor tener bien pulida nuestra técnica.

Hay varias recomendaciones para efectuar un correcto "swing" con nuestro detector de plato, quizas algunos las conozcan.

Por lo pronto les dejo estas 3.

Below are three metal detecting tips that will enhance your ability to locate more and better finds. However, before I give you these tips, I want to mention why I am writing this article.

Recently, I was going for a walk at a local park when I decided to sit down on a bench for a break. That is when I noticed an individual with a metal detector swinging his coil wildly, as he walked at a quick pace through the park.

I watched him for a few minutes and noticed that during that time, he never stopped to dig anything. I knew from experience that this particular park had been used for hundreds of years, and therefore held a lot of trash. I know because I had detected that park many times over the years, and I had dug many pull tabs, bottle caps, tin foil and other pieces of junk. I also found a lot of great coins, and jewelry.

I watched this individual swinging his detector, and he reminded me of someone cutting brush with a weed whacker. I realized why he had not dug anything, and why so many other detectorists do not dig many good finds as well.

If you want to increase your amount of good finds, follow these three tips.

Overlap You Swings

One of the most common mistakes a person metal detecting makes is they do not overlap each swing of their coil. You need to be sure that every swing overlaps your previous swing. Otherwise, you can miss a valuable item that is lying beneath the ground, by just a few inches in either direction.

A few years ago, I was detecting with a friend in an old park when I made this same mistake. I was swinging my detector, completely oblivious to what I was doing, just enjoying the day, my friend was detecting behind me.

After about twenty minutes of digging some junk and a few wheat cents, my friend yells out. "Look what you missed." To my surprise, and I must admit, my absolute dismay, my friend showed me a beautiful gold, diamond ring he had just dug. He found the ring ten feet behind me, almost walking in my footprints. I missed that ring because I was not paying attention to what I was doing. Had I overlapped the swing of my detector coil, I would have found that beautiful ring; to this day, my friend never lets me forget about that one.

Walk Slow

In addition to overlapping your swings, it is important to walk slowly. If you walk too fast, your not allowing your metal detector to process the information it needs to render a signal. That means you miss targets. It is true that some of the more advanced detectors process and read the targets quickly. However, you can still walk to fast for your detector to read every object below the ground that it receives. Therefore, you miss chances of finding items.

Swing Low

In addition to the above, this third tip is just as important. If you swing your detector coil more than a few inches above the ground, you are losing depth in your search. For instance, let's say your detector has a depth of ten inches below the surface. That means a coin that is six inches below the ground will be missed if your coil is held six inches above the ground. Your detector will miss that coin by a few inches. Keep your coil roughly one to two inches above the ground. That way your enhancing your chances of locating deep objects.

Following these metal detecting tips should help you find more good "stuff."
